  • Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music and Performance, Music Auditorium 55 Scenic Boulevard Clayton, VIC, 3168 Australia (map)

Based on their current practice of designing and building unique musical instruments, Passepartout Duo shares their creative process they call 'slow music'. The process spans from instrument design to recording, touching on the concept of music tools as entities with agency, influenced by theories in contemporary philosophy. They will discuss their instrument design process, and the role of a DIY approach to electronics in making new musical interfaces. More info available here.
